I walked up after seeing this and let her know that we would still need the ice cream machine and the unsweetened tea, and asked if she could hold off on those until the end. She gave me a look like I was completely out of line but agreed.
[Update - new managers and staff have come and gone and new ones replaced the old new ones too. They have never been as friendly or attentive as the original managers we met there, but they are adequate. It does take away a little of the experience, but that's me. I'm a 'Norm from Cheers' kind of guy.]

I have ventured out and tried the potatoes, and man! They are MASSIVE! Quite a few combos you can try and they run specialty spuds as a promo frequently. That is one heck of a meal! As soon as I do try a sandwich, I'll let you know what I think.]
They offer catering and the prices are really reasonable. Dine in prices are also very reasonable too. It's a clean and bright dining area, very open and space for large parties. Get over to Jason's Deli! You are sure to find lots of things you'll love too!
This is a hidden jewel in Chesterfield (and they have a location in Kirkwood, too!) Being an avid (self-proclaimed) salad bar aficionado, I was completely surprised that Jason's Deli had eluded my discovery until very recently.
I grabbed an ice cream cone and filled it as she walked over and started emptying all of the tea! I asked her to stop the one I still wanted and received a dirty look, but she stopped emptying it. Not my favorite kind of employee...]
Great food, generous portions. This is a place where your food actually looks like the pictures, lol. Don't have one of these restaurants near me, so I always stop at one when I'm traveling because I always know what I will get! Good food!
The food on the salad bar is tended to by an employee that keeps it refilled and fresh. That employee is never far from the area, in case you need something. They have three kinds of brewed tea, fountain sodas, coffee and hot tea. And ice cream is included (one of my favorite amenities!), and the machine actually works!
[Update - No more French Onion Soup... I did try the Chicken Pot Pie Soup, and it was great! I still haven't tried any of the sandwiches, because the salad bar still has combinations I haven't tried yet.
The managers are always welcoming and willing to explain how their system works to any new customers. They have been very friendly and remember us every time we visit. When we hadn't been for a couple weeks and showed up again, we were greeted like old friends-even remembering our regular orders!
[Update - during a recent visit, we arrived just after 8 pm. We ate our first salad and were going to return for some other bites. The salad bar employee had taken everything down at what must have been exactly 9 pm, which is closing time. However, during every other visit to this location, before the bar was closed, an employee or manager would ask if we needed to make another trip before they put it away. Not this time.
Generous portions, clean atmosphere and friendly staff. I went with the chicken pasta primo. The meal was good but the tomato basil sauce was too mild for my taste. I know...this is a deli and not OG. But it is cheaper, faster and wasn't a total wash. Still good enough to clean my plate.

Sandwich, salad bar and service was the best. It was my first time to visit Jason's Deli , I will definitely be back. I loved it!
Great alfredo, corned beef sandwich. Red beans and rice OK but needed bit more rice is why I gave 4 star but overall very good..tasty
They also have a sandwich and soup menu that is nothing to sneeze at, with a great French Onion Soup according to my girlfriend.
