I purchased two pairs of boots online but decided to return them. Since I work near the outlet mall, I took them into the store to return. I had my email confirmation, which stated the amount paid and the order number, and I attempted to return the boots. The gentleman at the counter informed me that they would not return my boots because I didn't have a magical piece of paper that they consider the "original sales receipt", that apparently was shipped with the boots only I never received it. They would not accept the email confirmation (or order number, shipping information, etc.) and would not accept my return. I then went into the parking lot to review Aldo's return policy and called the store again to ask a few questions. I was then informed that I could print out my bank statement and bring it into the store to prove how much I had paid for the boots and with which credit card. They would not review my bank statement electronically on my phone, and I was not comfortable giving a teenager at an outlet mall my bank statement or any other personal information. I then called customer service, and said that I wanted to return TWO pairs of boots, and she informed me that they could email me a UPS label to print out and I could drop the boots off at a UPS store. She actually emailed me ONE shipping label for ONE pair of boots, so I ended up having to spend $11 on a box to put both boxes of boots in to ship them back for returns. Per my shipping information, they have received the boots 7 days ago but no money has been credited to my account. Terrible customer service with unreasonable requests, I will never shop at an Aldo again.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere for shoe shopping. The overall outlet mall has a great look and feel!

I live nearby and come in a lot. I usually deal with Brandon, who is very helpful and informative. He asks if I need any help at all the right times and always knows what I am talking about without looking it up when I ask if they carry something. I have went in a few times to return items and I was in and out. Great addition to any staff. Keep up the good work.

**Update: Two weeks later, I called to ask about the status of my return, after 10 minutes of being on hold the lady tells me that she "found" my return in the warehouse and she has processed the return, which will take 2-5 business days to credit back to my card. Also, I explained to her about the UPS $11 charge, and she told me that I should have just refused the box and gone out to find my own box to send the boots back in...
