Monday nite 12-4 at 4:45p my wife & I waited while three employees lounged behind the guest service desk jawing while one helped the woman buying a gift card. We stood for 5 minutes to get 2 Imax tickets for Justice League. One had feet kicked up, slovenly dressed and groomed all. Walked across the big lobby to get nachos & soda, no one else in lobby, no one behind counter. Finally realized it was one of those guys and then waited for one to come over. We went to get our drink, we needed help, but he was back with his friends across the lobby, so I said don't bother I can do without. We are alone in an imax viewing of JL by ourselves. This place is in trouble. Sadly I had another experience like this at the AMC Carbondale University. I even sent a note to ask someone at AMC corporate as we are premier members, to call me about, but they had the offending employee do it she just argued again. AMC has some serious management issues in our region obviously. Great theater, great movie... horrible experience.
Went to see a movie on my birthday here for the first time. I love this theater! I got $5 tickets (not sure why), a free birthday popcorn (thanks, AMC!) The theater's seats and floor were clean and nice, movie experience (visual and sound) was wonderful. I'd go here again - I like how it's at the very top of the mall.
A Good place to watch movies, but doesn't have recliners, seat warmers like Wehrenberg..
It's a shame that movie theater are just simply going out of style. Very poor service, you had to yell to get someone's attention just to order some food or drinks after paying for your ticket, the works slak off and don't do there jobs and such.... I'm tired of going to movie theaters since you have to pay allot and get terrible service at the same time. So far amc at the mall and olive 16 the dine in one sucks at service.
Pretty frustrating when you wait in yhe front of a line for an hour outside of the theater and the line is released 5min to show time and you walk into a half full theater. Why? Because they're letting people in ahead of time and ignoring the people who stood in line like they were asked.
