Rented 4 different aerators from this tool rental location. All had issues. I am a professional lawn care service and have used many different aerators before, I know how they should run and operate. All were poorly maintained and wouldn't not run correctly. The associate told me that some aerators were "push" and some were "self propelled". I have never heard of a "push" aerator. I have rented the same brand before "Ryan EST", and it is not a "push" aerator. I took the liberty of calling Ryan manufacturing and asked tech support about the issue. They knew right away after describing the issue that it was a bearing issue and not an operator error that the home-depot associate insinuated. I was only offered a refund after going through 4 different machines. These machines are not maintained properly and/or damaged and not being fixed. I called the assistant manager and was told sorry we will refund your money, but I feel that this is not enough. I have went through a lengthily process of renting these machines and returning them several times. I feel that I am due more than just a refund. Home Depot you have really let me down this time.
To the door department: Tylor ordered a wrong size of the door. We waited almost 2 month for that door to be installed. Finally it arrived but with wrong size. I don’t know why but someone else was handling the situation but not the guy who designed it, it did make no sense. I went to talk to Tylor the next day, and he said they want someone else to handle it and also he pretended that he didn’t know what was going on. The lady spoke to me about the situation wasn’t even apologetic.
Set up an appointment on Saturday for someone to come to the house for a kitchen estimate on Monday @6pm. No one showed up, called the number provided and was advised that this service is not in place and would not be for 3-4 weeks. So much for this "new and improved" service.
I see home depot completely differently now.
The manangwr wS rude and very unhelpful the return lady insulted me when ever youneed to find a employee thete somewhere hiding not to be found at all cost avoid this home depot im a contractor and i have never experience a home depot ran this terriable i will write another review with there names
I understand that people make mistakes sometimes but for the least show some apology.
DOOR DEPARTMENT SUCKS
Very helpful. There was actual people on the sales floor to help you. Many times at these "box" srores no people are to be found.
