Guys, don't forget there are people who get help here every day who never bother to post a review bc they were satisfied with the service. It's typically the least prepared, rudest commenters who did not bother with the appointment process, who are angry and abbrasive enough to take the time of day to leave a negative review and talk trash. The IRS was fast, clean and curteous with me, I got great advice on filing for financial aid at my university, and all I had to do was be a normal human being and setup an appointment and show up on time. Its not hard people, you do this for literally any professional service, the IRS is not a Mcdonalds.
Wish I could give 0 stars. MOST ignorent rudest people ever. Especially the old blond b***h... she threw my id and social back at me across the counter. I agree on the comment of wonder why they have security. These people must have MISERABLE lives. If you come here without an appointment, like I did,DONT make them make you feel like you have to leave. Stand your ground and they will eventually help you after they treat you like dog s**t.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would!... The older white blonde lady was rude and insulting... When I asked her how much longer since I was on time and 45 min later I'm still waiting, she responded 'You can't film me!'...I explained to her paranoid ass that I don't 'film' people...Its pointless to make an appointment you will be waiting forever.
It was quite empty, but I loved how kind the security officers were. The guy that took care of my appointment (Craig I believe.. an older man) was so kind and very thoughtful.
Best thing i would just say it to just ask questions at the appointment, so they can give you direct and factual answers
The place definitely changed my previously negative & stereotypical pre-judgement of the IRS.
I came in for one thing & he took care of another-- saving me the trip of making another appointment
If I could give zero stars, I would. First of all, I didn't make an appointment as I was told without much notice from my school that I needed some tax info from several years ago. I went in WITH MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER and after being asked about an appointment, I politely said I would wait. I sat down and quietly waited for about half an hour when out of the blue, the CRAZY BLOND LADY started screaming at me that " I wasn't special and I had to make an appointment like everyone else" and I'm not exaggerating... SCREAMING. (Also, by law we are entitled to get help there, with or without an appointment they cannot turn you away) so she screamed at me and berated me for several minutes until my daughter was so terrified she was running to the door. THEN THE BLOND LADY called security ON ME for "causing a scene" and they escorted me out. I didn't cause a scene. I was sitting there quietly minding my own business and waiting patiently. This office is a joke.
Often it's the IRS appointment maker (over the phone) that causes people to make mistakes. They give you advice based on what they THINK they know, not based on the facts..
Things such bringing documents & anything related to you arriving to your scheduled appointment..
